Car Wash Cafe

​After acquiring the site the clients of this car wash chain were looking for a concepts to refit the small café on site. The design took inspiration from the Art Deco features of the small building. A throwback to the pastels and matt surfaces the aim was to focus the café layout to allow for a more engaging experience between staff and patrons. The small internal footprint blurs into an undercover outdoor seating area with retractable glass walls expanding into a space where patrons can sit comfortably and wait for their cars to be cleaned. A place to watch and engage with the surrounding activity or switch off for a short period and relax
